I am so glad Natural Med Doc exists! I've been a patient for over a year and half and my hormone issues have improved drastically! Dr. Bennett is wonderful. She listens to your concerns, she makes great recommendations and she is very thorough when going over labs. I've never had that with other doctors before. Despite the fact that insurance does not cover this, the expense is well worth it. I would highly recommend coming here if you do not want to put synthetic hormone meds in your body!
3 months of visits to Natural Med Doc has made good improvements to my health. They have uncovered issues I didn’t even know were important to healing. Already I have felt improved energy and have lost weight. Thank you Dr Richardson for believing in me.
I love Dr. Garcia. She’s amazing. She has got me back on track and makes me feel 100% better. The supplements and check-in are so helpful. Finally, somebody has listened and used science to help me and it’s working.

What are the benefits of knowing your Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) Type?

There are 4 phenotypes of PCOS: A, B, C, & D.  For optimal treatment, it is important to determine which type of PCOS you have.

Knowing your type can lead to a tailored treatment plan and improvement in areas like:

  • Healthy Fertility: Women with PCOS, can have delayed or anovulation and irregular or absent menstrual cycles. Signals for proper hormone production are disrupted, inhibiting not only ovulation but also overall hormone production. This results, not only in absent or infrequent ovulation but also improper estrogen and low progesterone production. Without a late cycle drop in progesterone and estrogen levels, menstrual shedding will fail to occur, causing infrequent or absent menstrual cycles.
  • Keeping anxiety at bay: Having balanced hormones like dopamine and serotonin makes you feel relaxed and allows you to control your emotions more.
  • Healthy Body Weight: When insulin levels are high, glucose is stored in fat cells, which in turn secrete an abundance of leptin, a signaling hormone, leading to leptin resistance. This can cause overeating, increased insulin production, lowering metabolism, and elevation in body fat percentage. Hormonal balancing diets and other PCOS treatments help prevent this spiraling chain reaction.

Knowing these three top benefits, our PCOS doctors in Kennewick already created an effective and foolproof system to help you reverse your PCOS. This will not only yield healthy benefits but will also prevent other adverse symptoms related to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

FAQs

Most frequent questions and answers

Do you take insurance?

Unfortunately, we do not know any other naturopathic doctors in Arizona that take insurance and deliver the same quality of care we do. We are a cash-based medical practice that goes above and beyond for each patient. This has allowed us to get better results and solve unwanted health symptoms that many patients have been dealing with for decades. Cost varies based on the patient's needs.

*Please Note: We do accept HSA cards.

How do you identify and treat PCOS?

Natural Med Doc is proud to offer a thorough assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of PCOS.

At Natural Med Doc we first assess patient presentation via an in-depth new patient intake, discussing pertinent medical history and current symptom picture. We then run a comprehensive lab panel for the assessment of hormonal regulation, metabolic function, inflammation, and more.

PCOS is diagnosed utilizing the medically agreed-upon diagnostic criteria.

At Natural Med Doc we work to not only treat symptoms but actually reverse the disease process of PCOS. Treatments often include dietary and lifestyle protocols, herbal and nutrient supplementation, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and pointed pharmaceutical use.

Do we have a guarantee?

The human body is very complex. Hence why our traditional cookie cutter medical system leaves millions of individuals with health concerns.

This is also most likely why you are reaching out to us today.

Therefore, we can’t guarantee results since what works for someone may not necessarily work for you.

However, we can promise you that the care we provide you WILL NOT be the same care we provide someone else. We provide personalized medical attention using the latest research and trends that exists. We encourage you to watch some of our videos and/or read some of our blog articles to better understand how our doctors think.

What is cortisol? How do you optimize my levels?

Cortisol is the body’s primary stress hormone. Cortisol production influences many functions of the body, such as the body’s stress response, circadian rhythm, blood glucose concentration, insulin sensitivity, bone formation, immune function, and body fat gain/loss.

A naturopath will first evaluate your hormone levels with a comprehensive blood test. Depending on the results, we may recommend herbal and nutrient sleep coaching, supplementation, glandular supplementation, pharmaceuticals.
