DETAILED EXPLANATIONS
Below Are Our Pain Management Services Explained in More Detail.

Perineurial Injection Therapy

Perineurial injection therapy is a natural way to treat neurological pain, caused by inflamed or injured nerves. Using a low dose dextrose solution, a sugar derived from corn, the injections decrease inflammation surrounding the nerve restoring it to normal functioning, and therefore decrease pain.
The injections themselves are superficial, treating nerves that run just below the skin surface. The injections are provided along the inflamed sensory nerves. These treatment area will varies based on which nerves are affected, and the number of injections needed is based upon the surface area that will be covered.
On average, patient will need 6-8 treatments given every 1-2 weeks for optimal results. Perineural Injection therapy treatments only take 30 minutes and require absolutely no down time. There are no drug or activity restrictions required for the treatment.
Results vary based on intensity of pain, chronicity of condition, medications, level of inflammation in the nerve, and overall health of the patient.
Trigger Point Therapy

If you have muscle pain it may be due to trigger points, or extremely painful knots that form in muscles. These knots form when muscles do not relax and are often painful when the muscle is contracted or when pressure is applied. Trigger point injection therapy is injected directly into the trigger points to help these muscles to relax.
Multiple trigger points are injected for each treatment. Our trigger point injection therapy consists of anesthetic, and low concentrations of dextrose. None of our regenerative injections include steroids, due to its degenerative effects over time.
Typically, patients receive 4-6 treatments given every 1-2 weeks. There are no drug or activity restrictions required for this treatment, and there is no down time.
The treatment only takes 30 minutes with minimal side effects, including muscle soreness for up to 24 hours, and mild bruising. Result vary based on intensity of pain, chronicity of condition, and overall health of the patient.

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy, or proliferation therapy is a natural treatment for musculoskeletal conditions that cause pain and instability.
The injections cause a low grade localized inflammation response facilitating the healing cascade. As a result cell proliferation is generated which are the building blocks to strengthen and regenerate healthy tissue.
Prolotherapy is strictly regenerative and does not contain any sort of steroid or cortisone in the injections as these over time degenerate tissue in and around the joint. These injections are effective for treating chronic pain, instability, and acute injuries that are healing slowly or inappropriately.
Prolotherapy will help to improve functionality, stability, decrease pain. Optimal results will require several injections of Prolotherapy given every 2-4 weeks.
PRP Therapy

PRP, or platelet rich plasma, is exactly what the name states blood plasma with a high concentration of platelets and growth factors. Platelets are an essential cofactor in the healing process, recruiting stem cells and releasing growth factors which stimulate localized inflammation, blood vessel growth, and increased immune response.
In this way PRP therapy stimulates the healing cascade, increasing tissue regeneration, and strengthening. Platelet rich plasma is derived from a patient’s own blood after it has been processed.
PRP therapy is strictly regenerative and does not contain any sort of steroid or cortisone in the injections as these over time degenerate tissue in and around the joint.
On average 2-6 treatments given every 4-6 weeks are needed for optimal results and pain relief. Generally, a patient will need 1 PRP injections for similar results as 2-3 Prolo injections. Results vary. Results are dependent of viability of a patients platelets which is affected by multiple factors such as, age, general heath, diet, smoking history, and blood chemistry.

Amniotic Fluid Injections

Amniotic fluid concentrate therapy is injections of donated amniotic fluid which contains robustly high amounts of growth factors and stem cells surpassing not only Prolo but even PRP in regenerative efficacy.
Similar to Prolo and PRP therapy amniotic fluid concentrate therapy stimulates the immune response and healing cascade in the localized injured area, yet with a higher efficacy.
This revolutionary therapy dramatically improves healing time, and pain resolution, and may even be used in patients without viable platelets.
